Overview
Banks in any economy are institutions where individuals and organizations invest their money or borrow money as loans. In return, banks make money by charging higher interest to lenders (people who borrowed money) and giving less interest to investors (people who invested money). When you visited a bank branch nearby, you would have noticed that there are multiple processes at the backend (cheque clearance, loan processing, account opening, ATM operations etc.) These processes are seamlessly run by large teams of capable people working in the retail banking industry. Leadership positions in banks involve managing these large teams and processes effectively.
Qualifications
One needs to clear the Bank PO exam or SBI/RBI exam post their bachelor degree in any stream. You should be good at Maths and basic calculations. As a leader in banking, you will be required to manage large teams and processes.
